Notes: Nine 11.5” tall (approx. 29 cm) one-of-a-kind customised plastic Barbie dolls fashioned into Rocky Horror characters to be used for the The Rocky Horror Picture Show’s 10th anniversary cake design poster. The official Fox one sheet poster was abruptly removed from circulation after Mattel threatened legal action for unauthorised use of their trademarked Barbie doll.

 

 

Notes: Seven piece unpainted solid resin model kit of Frank sculpted by Paul Komoda with arms stretched out to each side. Figure stands at 13” high (approx. 33cm) once assembled. Licensed by 20th Century Fox Film Corporation and packaged in a plain cardboard box with large adhesive sticker on the outside. (Original RRP $110)

Notes: A fully articulated 8” prototype action figure unveiled at the 1999 “Mid-Ohio-Con”. Flatt World Figures were an independent toy company who produced action figures of a much higher quality than those made by mainstream manufacturers. The first character in their proposed Rocky Horror series was Frank; with the release slated for the end of summer 2000, to commemorate the film's 25th anniversary. However, an extremely poor response in sales from what they promoted as a “super-realistic” Bela Lugosi as Dracula action figure, resulted in the company folding before they could even begin production on the Frank doll.

 

 

Notes: Series of 6 limited edition 6” tall (approx. 25cm) vinyl figures, released to commemorate the film’s upcoming 25th Anniversary. Sequentially numbered series of just 15,000, each sculpture features an oversized caricatured head packaged in a small display box. Also includes certificate of authenticity.

Notes: Limited Edition of 30,000 sequentially numbered. Each doll stands at 18” tall (46cm), and comes displayed wearing green, surgical lab coat, and also includes the classic corset, stockings, and suspenders underneath. An audio sample of the Time Warp from the film soundtrack plays when the sound chip inside the doll’s stomach is pressed. Display box includes Velcro fastened foldout-flap, which opens to reveal several images from the movie. Also includes a huge 32" x 27.5” (80 x 70cm) folded Time Warp instructions poster, and a small numbered certificate matching the edition number printed on the front of the box.

Notes: Limited edition individually hand-painted 5.5” x 3” wide x 3” tall (approx.13cm x 8cm wide x 7 cm tall) ceramic bear. Issued from the Bad Taste Bears Cult Movies series as “Rocky” (depicts Frank-N-Furter from The Rocky Horror Picture Show holding a cigarette, and lounging on a pair of red lips). Packaged in plain cardboard box featuring Bad Bears company sticker.

Notes: Two sculpted 7” (approx.17.5 cm) prototype action figures of Dr Frank-N-Furter & Riff Raff with limited points of articulation. Product launch was scheduled to coincide with the film’s 35th anniversary in September 2010, however, with concerns that the figures did not resemble the characters closely enough; NECA Toys ultimately rejected the final designs, leaving the project permanently shelved.
